Your Manta fighter is deployed on a low-level strafing run as you start your assault on the aliens' defences. It is then possible to activate the Dreadnought's self destruct mechanism. First you must attack the defensive screen of enemy fighters, then you must neutralise the majority of surface defences before you land on the Super-Dreadnought's master runway. Your Manta class Space Fighter will be transported to each planet in turn and it is your task to destroy each Dreadnought. Each Super-Dreadnought seeks out a different metal for its metal convertor. They are draining mineral resources from the planetary cores for use in their power units. The solar system is under attack! The far left and far right show what the saboteur is currently holding (if anything) and what they are standing near. The bottom section is divided into three parts. The top section of the screen display is your view of the world. Up and down will make the saboteur jump and crouch respectively, unless they are standing on or next to a ladder, in which case he will climb it in the appropriate direction. Thankfully, the time does stop as soon as you find the disk. The aim of the game is to find the secret disk and then escape from the complex using the helicopter, before the time limit runs out. This determines how many enemies there are, and how long you have to find the disk. When you select to start the game, you will be asked for a difficulty level. In some rooms there are also squat, tomb-like weapon generators which are the source of spinning knives and other weapons.
Your aim is to explore each room in turn to track down the evil warlocks but you will probably also have to battle with the evil hordes which guard each warlock. Mervyn the frog is transported to one of the rooms in the top level of the evil dungeon.
